Wanted to let you know that since Zackery has come back out of the hospital a week ago he is doing good. He went to the Dr yesterday and had his stitches pulled out and several vacs. He fell very behind on his shots due to his seizures. They were still timid to give him any but the risks are starting to out way the options. He ended up with seven shots and is very under the weather today.
We are awaiting the blood results from his genetics testing as well as what form of epilepsy he may have. When I find out I will let you know. Since they have upped his meds he seems to be adjusting to them slowly but surely. We still have a ways to go but we are happy to see him walking better.
Prayers are welcome and our love to all!

Blessings From Above!
Hello to all! Seems as though it has been so long since I was able to place a post on here. As most of you know we have been very busy. For those of you who are unaware Don finally had his surgery on the 10th of Dec. I am so glad it is over!!! It was a very scary moment for me. I had thought that I would handle it fine and for the most part I would like to think that I did. However, the fear and emotions that go through someone when there spouse leaves for surgery is one I am not able to really fully describe. After 15 plus years with my husband not to mention being with him since I was 17 I felt completely helpless for the first time. His last words to me were "come back to me." His first words after surgery were "my angle bug I love you." After what was to be two hrs in surgery the surgeon came out to talk to me four hrs later letting me know he was ok and that all went great. They did have to take over half the colon rather than 8 inches due to the entire middle section being diseased. Thankfully they caught it!! He went in at 6:30 and surgery was at 8 I saw him for the first time at 4 p.m. I was never so thankful to have seen him, hold him and love him. By Fri he took a turn for the worst after they found bleeding and were unaware where it was from and his blood count kept going down. I was scared and emotional. I later went to Bible study that night because I knew God was placing it on my heart to go for prayer. It was the best and most emotional bible study I have yet to attend. We all came together in agreement for Don's healing. The next morning I was called and told the bleeding was gone and his blood count went back up along with his blood pressure returning to normal. He was sent home after only five days in the hospital when they were certain he would be in there through the next week.
He is now home and doing good considering what he has been through. He and I wanted to thank all of you who have prayed for him. We are grateful!!! Please continue to pray he heals up like he should. Blessings to all!
