Update on Don!!
Don is being sent for yet another Colonoscopy due to some recent health concerns. He is also getting ready to go see a Urologist. The thinking is that he may have an enlarged prosstate. Until all is taken care of they will not operate on him. We are praying that they find everything that needs to be found and that they can get him on the road to recovery. He saw the surgeon yesterday and they DO want to operate as soon as possible. Looks as though they would like to go in as least invasive as possible but never the less he will be out of work for up to 2 months. In the meantime we will be trying to pay our monthly bills. Please pray the Lord provides for a family of six for all our needs to be met through this up coming time. His hospital stay will be ten days. As you can imagine with four kids this will be interesting for me. ;) I will let you all know when surgery date is set. Our love to all and again thank you for your continued prayers for our family.
May's news!
(Zackery at the doctor.)We are finally at a place with our youngest (Zackery) concerning his health. He was sent to Children's Mercy about a week or two ago now after another round of seizures. He has now had a total of 21 since Dec. After seeing the specialist there it has been confirmed he has seizure disorder which is the same as being Epileptic. He was put on a daily medication that is taken twice daily. He will remain on his other medication that is a Valium to help stop the seizure when it comes on. He still is going to have an MRI that they did not do for one of many reasons. It is scheduled for July 16th so please hold that in your prayers. It is hard to believe that this "little baby" is now turning 15 months old on the 20th of May. He is our blessing and we are thankful for and although this has been a hard journey we were given the best gift of all and that is the gift of his life. HE has given us such joy and an abundance of love. Thank you for all your prayers and PLEASE keep on. Zackery would thank you if he could but since he can't I am thanking you on his behalf.
