Is it really about that time!

Doesn't seem possible that I have a 19 year old, an 11 year old a 16 month old and now one that is getting ready to turn 14. My first born is already only four years away from adulthood. Surely not!! It truly does not feel as though he should be that old. I remember his first birthday thinking that the "teen years" were so far away. Of course I was a teen myself so I wasn't thinking that I would have a teen ;) Now here we are years later and he is 5" ft 5" tall and a handsome young man. I am very proud of him. Joshua and I went down some bumpy paths together when he was born. There were many nights we spent alone together, moved from place to place to place, growing together and learning together what the world was about not to mention how to live in the world. Without the love of "normal" parents we set out on a path that would take us on the journey of our lives. Now almost 14 and myself being 32 we are finding our way. He was my inspiration at 17 and continues to be. Thank you son for your love and for being MINE! I Love you!!! Happy Birthday

What YOUR prayers have done...

Don was recently back at the doctor to have a procedure done that would show exactly where and how much they would need to cut when he goes under for surgery. After the surgeon looked at his results he said that his prayers had been answered. At this time he did not feel that Don should have any surgery. We could have fallen on the floor out of shock!!! We are not sure why because we know that the Lord can do anything include heal my husband. He has gone from "Diverticulitis to Diverticulosis" Please continue to pray the he stays out of the hospital and keeps being healed!!!!!! As it stands they want him to take in a lot more Fiber etc. Being the good wife that I am I didn't need the Dr to beg me I am MORE than happy to make sure he gets plenty if it can keep him healthy. This entire situation with Don has made me much more thankful for our health. Again thank you for praying and please don't stop!!!
Blessings,
Leanna
